Support Groups Classes at CSS Virtual Classes Community Events
Regularly Occurring CSS Events
SUPPORT GROUP: LIVING WITH CANCER: This support group offers a comfortable place to talk about your experiences with others living with cancer. Group members can share feelings and experiences that may seem too awkward or too difficult to share with family and friends. This class is free of charge and open to CSS clients. Groups meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays each month, 9:30 - 11:00 am at Cancer Support Sonoma. Hosted by Patricia Brooks, LCSW, PhD

COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE: Affordable acupuncture in a group setting. Open to all! Everyone is welcome including CSS clients, friends & family and all other community members. Drop in or call 707-509-3549 for an appointment. Cost per session $50. One-time intake fee $15. The 40-minute sessions are offered weekly on Thursdays from 3-6 p.m.

ONCOLOGY YOGA: Join certified Yoga Instructor and Oncology Yoga Specialist, Susan O’Toole, for a 60 minute session specifically for CSS clients and their caregivers. Susan will show you how the practice of yoga and mindfulness can help reduce many side effects of cancer treatments. The cost per session is $15. Drop in or call 707-509-3549 to sign up. The class will be held each Wednesday from 4-5pm.

MEDICAL QIGONG: Paula Abowd, our CSS Acupuncturist and Medical Qigong Practitioner, for a 60 minute Medical Qigong Movement & Meditation class. Qigong is an ancient form of Chinese Medicine, where healing occurs through balancing Qi /electromagnetic energy. The cost per session is $15. Drop in or call 707.509-3549. The class will be held the first and third Tuesday from 1-2pm each month. Classes are offered to CSS clients, friends and family.

JIN SHIN JYUTSU ONLINE SELF-HELP MEDITATION: Annette Huck will demonstrate and lead all participants step by step into the application of the healing art. Available each Saturday morning 11am-11:30am
